"The Right Hand Reaching Out to the Left Hand"

The Goodwill Rehabilitation and Occupational Workshop (GROW), through a social enterprise project partnership with Elite Stationery (www.elitestationery.com.sg) bring you our social enterprise Greeting Cards' Project, "The Right Hand Reaching Out to the Left Hand".

High quality greeting cards from Elite Stationery are specially packed by our GROW trainees (being the left hands) for your customers, staff and associates (being our right hands).

This social enterprise project provides new hope to our trainees, enabling them to achieve social and financial independence.

What is the GROW programme?

GRO Workshop is a sheltered workshop programme under the Spastic Children's Association of Singapore (SCAS), which provides vocational training and employment for adults aged 16 years old and above with Cerebral Palsy and other associated disability conditions.

Objectives

  • Provide structured pre-vocational training to equip trainee for open employment
  • Source for commercial sub-contract work
  • Operate social enterprise initiatives in areas of:

    1. Goodwill Cafeteria
    2. Goodwill Thrift Shop
    3. Goodwill Push Carts
    4. Goodwill Gifts
    5. Seasonal Greeting Cards
    6. Recycling

How do GROW beneficiaries directly benefit from your support through the purchase of Greeting cards?

40% of the proceeds go back to GROW to support our trainees in sheltered employment, including vocational training and rehabilitation services. As part of the rehabilitation, our GROW trainees also receive Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services, to ensure that their conditions are being managed and do not deteriorate.
